Hoorah! Just bought a pair of 8" LCD displays with touch-screen. Didn't really need the added function but someday it might be handy... Here's what they look like:


I'll be able to incorporate at least one for the time being and use it as an MFD. For what I've seen I'll need another computer to add any more displays to the configuration so the dual MFD's will still have to wait... At least it gives me a good push to get myself organised and start thinking about a keyboard encoder board.

Having done a bit of research I've got two good choices so far: X-Keys from P.I. Engineering, or one of the boards from Hagstrom Electronics. First I need to save some money after tonight's purchase...
